French Dip Sandwiches Recipe




French Dip Sandwiches Ingredients:

  • 1 beef sirloin tip roast (3 to 4 pounds)
  • 1/2 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 whole peppercorns
  • 1 tsp beef bouillon granules
  • 1 tsp dried crushed rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Hard rolls, split

How to make French Dip Sandwiches:

  • Cut beef roast in half.
  • Place roast in a 5-qt. slow cooker.
  • In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, bouillon and seasonings.
  • Pour this mixture over the roast.
  • Add water to almost cover roast.
  • Cover and cook on low for 10 hours or until meat is tender.
  • Take it out from the slow cooker.
  • Cool slightly.
  • Discard bay leaf.
  • Shred meat with forks.
  • Return to the slow cooker.
  • Cook for 10 minutes or until heat through.
  • French Dip Sandwiches are ready now.

  • Serve on rolls with broth.
