Vegetable Butter Rice Recipe





Vegetable Butter Rice Ingredients:

  • 2 cups Basmati Rice
  • 1 cup boiled Peas
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 Carrot, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup Cabbage
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • water as required
  • salt to taste

How to make Vegetable Butter Rice:

  • Rinse rice in 4-5 changes of water until the water runs clear.
  • Soak the rice for 30 minutes.
  • Cut vegetables into thin slices,shred the cabbage.
  • In a deep skillet, add water and salt.
  • Boiled rice in it;drain and set aside.
  • In a pan , melt butter on low flame.
  • Place all vegetables and stir fry for 2 minutes.
  • Then add stir fry vegetables into the rice.
  • Stir well.
  • Put the lid on, reduce heat to low.
  • Cook for 10 minutes or until rice is done.
  • Vegetable Butter Rice is ready to serve.

  • Serve hot with raita.
