Black Eyed Peas with Okra Recipe






Ingredients of Black Eyed Peas with Okra:

  • 2 cup Black-Eyed Peas With Snaps, cooked
  • 1/2 cup Peas
  • 1 Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tomato, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cup Okra
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

How to make Black Eyed Peas with Okra

  • Layer ingredients in order in a 2 quart saucepan.
  • Cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes, until vegetables on top layers are steamed.
  • Remove from the heat and transfer into a serving bowl.
  • Garnish with green Chilies.
  • Black Eyed Peas with Okra is ready to serve.
  • Serve with rice.
