Black Eyed Peas with Okra Recipe
Ingredients of Black Eyed Peas with Okra:
- 2 cup Black-Eyed Peas With Snaps, cooked
- 1/2 cup Peas
- 1 Onion, thinly sliced
- 1 Tomato, peeled and sliced
- 2 cup Okra
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
How to make Black Eyed Peas with Okra
- Layer ingredients in order in a 2 quart saucepan.
- Cook over low heat for 10-15 minutes, until vegetables on top layers are steamed.
- Remove from the heat and transfer into a serving bowl.
- Garnish with green Chilies.
- Black Eyed Peas with Okra is ready to serve.
- Serve with rice.
