Bourbon Chicken Recipe
Bourbon Chicken Ingredients:
- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, crushed
- 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- salt to taste
How to make Bourbon Chicken:
- Wash chicken breasts and trim all excess fat.
- Pat dry then cut into bite size pieces.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Place chicken in it.
- Cook for 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Then remove from the oil.
- Now add all remaining ingredients in the skillet.
- Heat until well mixed and dissolved.
- Then add fried chicken and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Cover with a lid and simmer for 20 minutes.

- Enjoy with steamed rice.
