Chicken Boti – Shireen Anwar Recipe




Chicken Boti Ingredients:



  • 1 kg chicken, cut into 16 pieces
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp white cumin
  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1-1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp all spice
  • 1 tsp salt

Shireen Anwar Recipe of Chicken Boti:

Method:
  • Place chicken, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, and salt in a skillet
  • Cook on low flame for 15 minutes.
  • Grind together poppy seeds, sesame seeds, coconut, cumin seeds and fennel seeds.
  • Add to the chicken.
  • Stir well.
  • Now add oil and cook until chicken is tender and oil comes on top.
  • Give dum of coal.
  • Garnish with onion rings, green chilies and mint.
  • Chicken Boti is ready now.

  • Serve hot with Naan and Raita.
