Chinese Hot Chicken Recipe




Chinese Hot Chicken Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken, boneless & skinless
  • 4 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp garlic, crushed
  • 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 hot peppers
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

How to make Chinese Hot Chicken:

  • Wash chicken and remove all excess fat.
  • Cut into 1 inch pieces.
  • Place chicken in a large bowl, add garlic, ginger,vinegar, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Mix well.
  • Then cover and marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Cut spring onion and hot peppers diagonally into 1-inch pieces.
  • Heat oil in a wok or a deep pan.
  • Place marinated chicken in it and cook for 8-10 minutes or until meat is tender.
  • Add chicken broth and mix well.
  • Cook over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Now add hot pepper and green onion.
  • Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 cup of water.
  • Add cornstarch to thicken.
  • Chinese Hot Chicken is ready now.

  • Serve over boiled rice.
