Deep Fried Chicken Wings Recipe




Deep Fried Chicken Wings Ingredients:

  • 3 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup cornflour
  • 1/4 cup plain flour
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Oil for  frying

How to make Deep Fried Chicken Wings:

  • Rinse chicken wings and pat dry.
  • Cut chicken wings into 3 parts, discard wing tip section.
  • In a large bowl, combine togther cornflour, plain flour, sugar, sesame seeds and salt.
  • In a small bowl, add eggs, oil and soy sauce.
  • Mix well.
  • Gradually pour into dry ingredients.
  • Mix until well blended.
  • Now add green onions and chicken wings.
  • Turn to coat evenly.
  • Then cover and marinate for 3-4 hours.
  • Heat oil in an electric skillet or deep-fat fryer.
  • Place 8-10 wings in hot oil and fry for 5 minutes on each side or until juices run clear.
  • Remove from the oil and drain on paper towel.
  • Deep Fried Chicken Wings are ready to serve.

  • Enjoy with Chili Garlic Sauce.
