Deep Fried Chicken Wings Ingredients:
- 3 pounds chicken wings
- 1/2 cup cornflour
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Oil for frying
How to make Deep Fried Chicken Wings:
- Rinse chicken wings and pat dry.
- Cut chicken wings into 3 parts, discard wing tip section.
- In a large bowl, combine togther cornflour, plain flour, sugar, sesame seeds and salt.
- In a small bowl, add eggs, oil and soy sauce.
- Mix well.
- Gradually pour into dry ingredients.
- Mix until well blended.
- Now add green onions and chicken wings.
- Turn to coat evenly.
- Then cover and marinate for 3-4 hours.
- Heat oil in an electric skillet or deep-fat fryer.
- Place 8-10 wings in hot oil and fry for 5 minutes on each side or until juices run clear.
- Remove from the oil and drain on paper towel.
