Lemon-Pepper Fish Fillet Sandwiches Recipe



Lemon-Pepper Fish Fillet Sandwiches Ingredients:

  • 4 whole-grain or rye sandwich buns, toasted
  • 2 tilapia fillets (about 6 oz each), each cut crosswise in half
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 cup tartar sauce
  • 2 tbsp  yellow cornmeal
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp lemon-pepper seasoning

Directions:

  • Place cornmeal, flour, seasoned salt, lemon pepper seasoning in a shallow bowl.
    Mix well.
  • Coat fish fillets with flour mixture.
  • Heat oil in a nonstick skillet  over medium-high heat.
  • Place fish fillets into the skillet.
  • Cook in hot oil for 5 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily with fork.
  • Spread tartar sauce on cut sides of toasted buns.
  • Place fish fillets on buns.
  • Top buns with lettuce leaves.
  • Lemon-Pepper Fish Fillet Sandwiches are ready now.

  • Serve with Chili Cheese Fries.
